I am Sascha Steinhoff and author of the book Scanning of Negatives and Slides. this website contains useful information about the various ways to digitize old-fashioned analog images for use with a computer.

This website contains a lot of useful information around this topic in German and English. Although I try to provide information on www.scanguru.info in both languages, the german part of the website ist still bigger, than the english part. It will take some time, until everything is translated. So, if you can speak German, don't be shy and switch over to the german scanguru.info if you like.
