Problems with CD or DVD

I cannot read the CD or DVD at all

If your computer cannot read the CD/DVD at all, there is probably something wrong with your system. From experience the CD/DVD is not to blame for this. Please insert the disc into another computer that will fix the problem.

During the last 4 years this - after selling 10.000+ books - there was only one reader who reported this kind of issue. He gave his book+DVD back to the dealer several times, but this did not fix the problem. In the end he just inserted the disc in his second computer and there everything went fine.

Cannot open PDF with SilverFast ColorManagement Guide

Readers of the first edition of Scanning Negatives and Slides reported in very few cases, that they cannot open the PDF with the ColorManagement Guide of SilverFast. If you are facing the same problem, please download here the most recent version of the SF_Colormanagementguide_en.pdf.

The second edition of Scanning Negatives and Slides and the german editions Digitalisieren von Dias und Negativen are not affected at all.
